Opera Vivente will be holding additional auditions for its 2008-09 season (Don Giovanni, The Coronation of Poppea, and Albert Herring) on March 7 and 8, 2008. Interested singers should submit a headshot, resume, CD recording if available, and a $20 application fee to Opera Vivente, 811 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Audition packets must be postmarked by March 1, 2008. Date or time preferences should be indicated in a cover letter. Singers will be notified of their audition date and time via email. Auditioners should be prepared to sing two arias one of which must be in English. Translations are acceptable. Auditioners are also encouraged to sing arias from the season's repertoire or of comparable vocal style. The following roles have already been cast: Don Giovanni, Nero, and Lady Billows.
