Experience opera from the inside out. Volunteers aid Opera Vivente at all
levels and are essential for a company with no full-time paid staff.
Who: Professional, student, retiree. Anyone with an interest in what goes
on inside an opera company.
When: A few hours per year or per month. Weekday, weekend, morning,
afternoon, or evening. Whatever your schedule, you fit in.
What: Anything from accounting to xeroxing. On-stage super or back-stage
dresser or stage crew. Ticket taker or usher. Artist housing and transport.
Event planning. All these and more are valuable ways that your talents can
help Opera Vivente.

Donors make it all possible. Here are a few examples of how your invaluable
support allows Opera Vivente to continue bringing high-quality chamber
opera to Baltimore.
$50-$99:
underwrites a rehearsal accompanist for one rehearsal or an orchestral
player for one performance
$100-$249:
underwrites the hand-held props in a production or a costume
$250-$499:
underwrites a singer in a secondary role or the stage manager
$500-$999:
underwrites a designer for set, lighting or costumes
$1,000-$2,499:
underwrites a principal singer or the rental of lighting equipment
$2,500-$4,999:
underwrites the set or the entire design team
$5,000-$10,000:
underwrites the entire cast or the entire orchestra for a production
Many of our donors have been able to double or even triple the impact of
their gift through matching-gift programs sponsored by their employers.
Check with your company to see if they offer such a program.
